Our Mission

Our mission at Chicago Multi-Cultural Dancer Center is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.

Here at Chicago Multi-Cultural Dancer Center, we have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer.

  • There are options for additional genres of dance (including Tap, Hip Hop, and African) in the Early Childhood and Open Dance programs on Saturday mornings.

  • We are launching a new Company Program for our Youth Professional Training Program dancers!

COMPANY DANCERS MUST BE ENROLLED IN THE FULL BALLET PROGRAM

STUDENT COMPANY IS OPEN TO DIVISIONS 3 & 4 ONLY

  • Company Class will be held Saturdays 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • Each week the new company classes will offer a combination of training in various genres (Latin, Contemporary, and Hip Hop) and workshops to develop performance skills and stage presence.

  • Company classes will also include workshops covering other important topics to help the CMDC Youth Professional dancers be prepared for artistic opportunities after their training at CMDC; examples of specialty topics will include: how to build your dance resume, tips on building your social media presence, auditioning skills, choreographers workshops and more!

  • Company dancers will have the opportunity to participate in community engagement performances, as they arise.
